What you'll need that isn't in the kit:
A pump, unless you plan to inflate by hand — the card links to the one we use. And something to hang it with: command strips for a smooth wall, or fishing line and zip ties to suspend it. Both are a few dollars at any hardware store.
No helium, no tank, nothing to rent or return.
How it works:
Tie the 260Q balloons end to end to make the core. Twist your round balloons into couplings of six, twist each coupling onto the core, and repeat. Tuck the small balloons into the gaps at the end, then hang it. No experience needed — the finished look is meant to be irregular, so there's no pattern to get wrong.

Questions we get:
Why do you use 260 balloons for the core instead of decorating strip, fishing line or ribbon?
Because latex grips latex. A coupling twisted onto a 260 core stays exactly where you put it, and the core bends with the garland instead of fighting it — so it drapes around corners, columns and arches without kinking. Decorating strip is rigid plastic: it shows through the gaps and it will not curve tightly. Fishing line and ribbon have no body at all, so couplings slide along them and the garland cannot hold its shape. Fishing line is for hanging the finished garland, not for building it.
Do I need helium?
No. Garlands are built with air. Helium would work against you — you want the garland to hold its shape against a wall, not pull upward.
Do I need any experience?
None. If you can tie a balloon you can build this.
How much time should I set aside?
Build it the day before or the morning of your event rather than well ahead — air-filled latex looks its best fresh. Give yourself an unhurried block rather than squeezing it in, and use a pump for a Luxury or Grand.
What if a balloon pops?
We pack ten percent extra for exactly that. A few always go, and it's not something you did wrong.
How long will it last?
Indoors and out of direct sun, an air-filled latex garland holds its look for several days. Heat and sunlight are what shorten it.
Can I use a decorating strip instead?
Yes. If you already own strip, the balloons work exactly the same way — thread instead of twist, and skip the core step.
